A journey from school to the dynamic world of finance

Son of an illustrious Gujarati real-estate doyen, Adhum was born in Sussex, United Kingdom, and did his schooling from Lewes priory school in Lewes. Adhum had always known since an early age that he wanted to taste the world of finance as soon as he grew up. So following his father’s footsteps, he began to work in finance early on, after finishing school when he got an offer from Natural Resource Capital as the Business Development Director. His passion towards investing and growing businesses from the ground up was sparked once he started working in Dubai for a real estate company and then there was no looking back after that. With this newfound realization, he started working for Pura Logica, a subsidiary of Allianz Holdings limited and during his term, he was involved in a number of noteworthy business deals including the purchase of an intercontinental portfolio, acquiring and packaging of a hundred storey tower in Sri Lanka. He was also entrusted with brokering transactions of precious stones that the company owned. After having experienced the highs of the professional world that initial spark towards investments was now culminating into a full-blown desire to make something of his own.

A self-realization towards true ambition

Post-Allianz, he decided to move back to the UK and start doing what he was always meant for and wanted? start his own investment venture. Smart cities and smart building will be the new-age reality leading to a rapid rise in the co-working and co-living industry. Big data will change the game as companies will try to leverage analytics for creating better living spaces and augment residential living.
