To do that you have to surround yourself with English. Everything you use, books, movies, pictures, music, and news have to be in English. If you have an English in your background, your brain learns unconsciously.

Your brain keeps an information better when you care about it. Moreover, it is far more interesting when you are fully engaged in the English learning.

The next element is about understanding. When you are learning new words, you may think that each word has only one meaning. You are wrong. Most English words have at least two meanings that change depending on the context. Make sure that you learn the words thoroughly, with examples and explanations. Read the paper writing, books, and stories to encounter different contexts. It will help you to be more confident in the conversations.

Make the information you learn useful. Think about where it can be used, how you can apply it. If you find the way you can use it, you will memorize it betters. Your brain does not to remember an excessive and unimportant information. Do your best to assure your brain that English is useful.

Once you found how to use the vocabulary and grammar, use it. Use it every time you have such opportunity. If you do not have opportunities, create them and use. Your brain does not want to keep a passive information. Practice speaking, writing papers, listening and reading to force your brain to retain the information you learn and to get used to it.
