World Students’ Day 2021: APJ Abdul Kalam’s Most Memorable Lines

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam dedicated his life to teaching and inspiring students to become the best version of themselves throughout his life.

He was also called the ‘Missile Man of India’ for spearheading the development of the India’s civilian space programme.

Dr. Kalam passed away on July 27, 2015, while delivering a lecture at IIM-Shillong, when he collapsed on stage due to a cardiac arrest.

On the occasion of what would been his 90th birthday, Qrius curates his best known inspirational lines:-

“Don’t take rest after your first victory because if you fail in second, more lips are waiting to say that your first victory was just luck.” – APJ Abdul Kalam.

“To succeed in your mission, you must have single-minded devotion to your goal.”

“If you fail, never give up because FAIL means “First Attempt In Learning”.

Creativity is seeing the same thing but thinking differently

“Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.”

Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me

Excellence is a continuous process and not an accident.

If four things are followed – having a great aim, acquiring knowledge, hard work, and perseverance – then anything can be achieved.

Science is a beautiful gift to humanity; we should not distort it.

Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream and work.
