A few hours after WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram suffered a global outage, it seems that Reliance Jio cellular networks are down for some users.
The scope of impact of this network issue, whether in a particular region or a bigger issue for Jio subscribers nationwide in India is yet to be ascertained.
Several users took to Twitter to complain about the Jio network outage with the hashtag #jiodown trending on Twitter India.
Notably, most of the tweets to the customer care at Jio were made from Madhya Pradesh and surrounding region indicating that the outage could have impacted this area in particular.
However, the number of complaints seem to be dwindling, signalling that the issue may be close to being resolved.
