Dogecoin can now be used to buy an array of things on Tesla, according to tweet by CEO Elon Musk.
Musk had earlier announced that Dogecoin was to be a part of Teslas payment options, but there was no intimatoin as to when it would happen. While the crytpo community was awaiting official confirmation, Tesla rolled out a support page solely for Dogecoin-enabled payments, which came to the notice of users.
While you may not be able to splurge on a Model X just yet, customers can purchase everything from Cyberwhistles to quad bikes with Dogecoin.
You would need a Dogecoin wallet to enable payments through Dogecoin.
During check out, the payments page would reflect the wallet via an alphanumeric code and a QR code, for uses to transfer funds from their respective wallets.
