Le 1s Eco: The All Aluminium Warrior

LeEco launched the new Le 1s Eco smartphone on 3rd May 2016 along with its entertainment services in India. The company is looking at a smartphone tailor-made for the Indian consumer with the smartphone being the first phone to support more than nine Indian languages such as Tamil, Bengali and Oriya among others.

LeEco is also keen to provide the best in entertainment services, claiming the Le 1s Eco to be a Blockbuster phone. Their entertainment services ranging from high-definition video, movie streaming, music and sports. LeEco is introducing ‘Supertainment’ in India with its Ecosystem Membership Program where smartphone owners have unlimited access to entertainment from YuppTV channels, Eros Now movies and Hungama music.

Eros now has partnered with LeEco to make available more than 2000 movies on demand including the latest films across various languages. With the collaboration with Hungama Music, users will have access to more than 3.5 million tracks offered in nearly 25 different Indian languages. Users will also be able to stream live online concerts from the world over. YuppTV offers users access to top television shows on the go. These features are quite unique to a smartphone segment and make a special case for Le 1s Eco in this competitive market. The company also released an app “LeVidi”, which offers YouTube-like experience with content from partner channel, Eros.

The company has also announced its cloud storage service called ‘LeEco Drive,’ providing users an astonishing 5 TB of cloud storage.

The Le 1s Eco smartphone is priced at a special introductory price of Rs 9,999 and will come with 1 year of free LeEco Membership content worth Rs. 4999.

The phone will be exclusively available on flipkart.com on the 12th of May, 2 PM onwards.
