The Best Tools for a Clean Kitchen

We all know how important it is for you to have a clean kitchen! Messy kitchens make it hard for us to keep things in order and it can be stressful to try and figure out what it is that you can and cannot use in your personal kitchen space.

Working with great tools to keep your kitchen clean is absolutely essential when you’re trying to cook for your family and friends. But, what sorts of things do you need to keep around? Here’s a quick guide to some of our favorite options!

Scouring Pads

Stainless steel pots and pots can be notoriously difficult to keep in peak condition. Because of that, it’s important to always have some scouring pads on hand to take care of the hard stuff. Instead of scrubbing with a brush or sponge for hours, you can use a scouring pad and get gunk off pretty handily.

Flour Sack Towels

Flour sack towels are some of the most versatile towels that you’re going to find when you’re looking for kitchen towels. These towels are designed in the same way as flour sacks (hence the name) – light cotton material, loose weave. This makes them incredibly absorbent.

They range in different sizes to help accommodate the multiple needs of those using them. Whether you want a tea towel or a larger option, you’re sure to find plenty of them that you can choose from and shop for. Find some with fun designs and you can use them for both cleaning and décor in your space.

Dish Brushes with Built-in Soap Dispenser

Gone are the days where you squirt dish soap on a sponge and waste half of it while you’re trying to scrub the dishes. Now, there’s an easier way to make sure that you can keep your dishes clean while not spilling dish soap all over your sink.

These dish brushes have a hollow handle that you just squirt the dish soap into.  Then, as you scrub with the sponge, the dish soap is dispensed onto the sponge, and then you can scrub the dishes with the dish soap. It’s really easy to clean the dishes, and you’re ready to go.

Crumb Scraper Tool

We all know how much of a pain it is to get crumbs on your table, on the oven, or in other hard to clean areas of your kitchen. Instead of getting stressed and wasting a lot of paper towels on the process, you can use a crumb scraper.

A crumb scraper is literally a flat piece of metal with a plastic or metal grip. You run it across the surface that you’re cleaning and the crumbs come right off of it. It’s quick and easy, and it’s a cheap little tool that will make cleaning that much easier for you.

Steam Mop

Kitchen floors are typically easy to clean due to being made of vinyl or tile, but many of us don’t want to spend all of that time getting a bucket to mop it. Thankfully, steam mops are now easy and affordable to get, and you can use them in order to get your kitchen floors looking clean.

There are a lot of different options, from the simple cheap ones all the way up to the heavy duty options. Shop around and look at the different types of steam mops on the market and you’re sure to find something that works for both your budget and your needs.

Kitchen Gloves

Cleaning the kitchen can be incredibly rough on your hands as time goes on. Because of that, you want to be sure that you do your best to protect your hands in the meantime. Your best option is to get a set of kitchen gloves that you can use while you are cleaning.

These gloves come in all sizes and they are made from all sorts of materials. Most of the time, you want to have rubber or vinyl gloves. These will help to protect your hands from the water and allow for the flexibility you need in order to be able to clean well.

There are a lot of different ways in which you can keep your kitchen in order, and it’s important to look at your options and see what there is for you to choose from. Get creative with your options and be sure that you do everything that you can in order to get your kitchen in order every day.
