Providing Healthcare Environment and Last Mile Connectivity To All Citizens

By Sugata Sanyal

A premium healthcare environment and last-mile connectivity to each and every citizen of the country are two important areas of healthcare. I had an interesting conversation with the Vizry Group, a firm specialising in strategic moves and high-end technologies, as they are determined to change the technology-adoption and solve some of the pressing global challenges to healthcare. Since the last two years of its inception, Vizry Group has made its presence in over 40 countries, helping start-ups and fortune ranked companies in their strategic and growth initiatives across 15 industries, from commodities like oil & gas to futuristic technologies based on Artificial Intelligence and other advanced science.

Strategy to the rescue: There are many start-ups which are coming into the Indian market space, attempting to solve local, national and global level issues, both at the economic front and the technology front. Vizry group has made a remarkable contribution in the past one year by launching a specific set of strategy modules to help mentor and support this level of innovation and growth potential in the start-up eco-system of India and abroad. Their work and their results validate the impact of such promising ideas on the economy. Their meticulous approach in scrutinizing, benchmarking and implementing new ideas is quite innovative.

Their latest initiatives are towards helping to connect a billion plus people in India, by bringing technology-driven solutions for healthcare infrastructure reforms, road safety and last-mile connectivity. One of the senior members described their future plans which are going to be a potential reality.

Healthcare, need of the moment: Every citizen has the right to proper healthcare, yet only a small part of our billion plus population has access to basic healthcare services. They are currently working on bringing basic healthcare services, using an (Internet of Things) IOT based solution, where every citizen will have access to basic healthcare within a short span of time. It is a noble concept in testing.

Road safety, a much talked about issue: Huge amounts of discussion have been going on about this issue. In fact, a few ideas are
already being tested to make the roads safer. However, in an economy like India the lack of advanced technologies is making an ever-widening gap in this vertical, which is proving very difficult to fill. Today, in the rising awareness of safety, this firm is ideating a new technology, which could bring a complete reduction to the road fatalities across the globe. I believe if any company or set of individuals can bring a convergence to such issues; it will be of great benefit.

Last-mile connectivity, a sure way to success for any country: I had a deep discussion with the experts of Vizry Group and I am sure that by using their strategic know-how, global-access to technology-driven solutions could help solve the last-mile-connectivity issue i.e. access of internet and internet-enabled services. This new technology could achieve the nationwide connectivity target within months instead of years, and that too at a nominal cost.

I convey my hearty congratulations to the group.

It has been an interesting round of conversation and I sincerely thank Ravi Arora, of the Vizry Group, for his kind help.
