‘Goodfellas’ Actor Ray Liotta Passes Away At 67

American actor and producer Ray Liotta, who acted in well-known Hollywood movies such as the The Rat Pack, Unforgettable, Cop Land, and Phoenix passed away at the age of 67.

Liotta shot to fame with his lead role in Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed gangster biopic Goodfellas.. He was also seen in TV shows like ER, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Casablanca, among others.

Some of his recent screen appearances include Alan Taylor’s The Many Saints of Newark, crime-thriller No Sudden Move, and Apple TV+ series Black Bird.

Liotta’s representative confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter.

As per the publication, Liotta died during his sleep in the Dominican Republic where he was filming his latest movie, ‘Dangerous Waters.’

Liotta was know for his intense characters, especially in crime dramas, but he was also adept at comedy. He said he always tried to avoid being typecast.

‘You want to do as many different genres as you can,’ he once said.

Liotta is survived by his daughter Karsen and fiancee Jacy Nittolo.
