The movie was initially slated for a theatrical release on May 8 but got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Following Rajputs death by suicide on June 14, Disney Plus Hotstar announced that it would premiere the movie on its platform. The movie will be available for free to both subscribers and non-subscribers to pay tribute to the legacy Sushant Singh Rajput has left behind.
