On Tuesday, the Dah Division of the Indian Army organized an equipment display and youth motivation event based on the theme Know Our Armed Forces at Palampur as a part of the upcoming 74th Republic Day celebrations.
The event was organized to motivate the local children and youth while showcasing our military prowess and as a tribute to the brave men who laid their lives in the line of duty to ensure the safety and territorial integrity of the Republic of India.
The event was organized at Agriculture University, Palampur, which provided convenient access for the general populace.Prof HK Chaudhary jointly inaugurated it, Vice Chancellor, Agriculture University, Palampur, and Maj Gen MP Singh, GOC, Dah Division.
To make the event vibrant, various activities such as Pipe Band display, Dog Show, Horse Riding, Helicopter Slithering Artillery Gun, and Infantry Mortar drills were performed by Indian Army soldiers.
The local populace witnessed the event with overwhelming enthusiasm, especially school children, as it gave them insight into the Indian Army while fostering their faith and pride for the sentinels of this nation.
