For fans of Robotics, events like Poseidon, Powerdrift, Armaggedon, Aeronave, Cyborg Breakln and Quadrone will surely sweep you off your feet. Adding on to the thrill are technical events such as AI: Aint an Illusion, teAch, Disaster DataQuest and Insomnia inter-alia, to ensure that the vigour only grows. The B-Street category will feature exciting events, including the likes of CogniStreet, Lets Advertise, SuppliMate and CorpoStrat.

At Cognizance 2018, the promise is of a plethora of fun-filled learning opportunities, which will only leave you asking for more.
Off-the-cuff events like Illushun, S.M.O.G, Laser-o-reflect and Tele-Tale, with gaming tournaments like FIFA, Need for Speed, Counter Strike and Sudoku are there to make sure you experience innovation at its best and have fun while you are at it.
Arts and entertainment
This year, the newest additions are the Literature and Arts Festival (Lit.AF) which will include panel discussions, workshops on scribbled stories, LitMart (the bookstore), Jashn-e-Adab, Daastangoi and Lit.AF Night. Moreover, the Innovation Conclave will have case studies, workshops and panel discussions on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency and Banking and Finance Tech.
Ensuring entertainment doesnt take a backseat, artists like Papon, Sachin-Jigar, David Blatter and Kate Chruscicka and others from Coke Studio, with The Viral Fever (TVF) and bands Bombay Walkers and Eluveitie will keep it kicking.
Replete with a whole lot of interesting events, the take-backs will be plenty.
If activities tire you out, stress nottheres still abundant fun around. You can check out the various exhibitions installed, not on one but various themes, and you will have amassed tonnes of knowledge strolling your way through them, even before you know. FUmanoids, EPSON MOVERIO BT-300, Microsoft Surface Pro 4, ISRO, InMoov, Pluto Mini-Drone, Equinox Planetarium, Sudaksh and SAMSUNG GADGET EXPO are what you can look forward to.
For a better society
Cognizance 2018 is a youthful affair and with the initiatives for awareness under it, one can channel the youthful energy quite aptly to provide solutions for the masses.
The endeavours in this regard include blood donation camps in major cities of Uttarakhand. There is Disaster Mitigation, a data-based case study competition, and Aviral Ganga Phase II, which involves setting up bio-toilets at the ghats of Haridwar. In collaboration with NSS and UBA, IIT Roorkee, there is Pratham, a Pan-India Skill Development Campaign, and an initiative to bring light to several villages of Uttarakhand by distributing LED bulbs with UREDA.
