The idea of having to put your key in the lock and physically unlock the door seems prehistoric these days, but keyless opening is a relatively new technology in the grand scheme of things. Many people will remember the stress and difficulty of using an enormous fold-out map to find their way when visiting somewhere new. Fortunately, technology has improved navigation with Sat-Nav and built-in navigation that can easily direct you without you having to take your eyes off the wheel. This has transformed driving in recent years and helped people to easily find the most efficient way to their destination.
5. Entertainment
Entertainment technology has also come on leaps and bounds. Previously, cassettes and even 8 tracks were the best entertainment that you can get, but modern cars have connectivity that can transform the experience and make it much more comfortable and enjoyable for all. This includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth making it easy to stream just about anything as well as controls that can make the car environment more comfortable.
These are just a few examples of the ways in which tech has transformed driving in recent times. It is hard to remember what motoring was like 15+ years ago and would seem prehistoric to any young motorist today that has benefitted from so much great technology.
