The iPhone 15 battery life and charging
When it comes to battery life, the iPhone 15 Pro will last for an entire day, Apple claims. Apple has also done away with its lightning port for charging, with many seeing it as an adaptation owing to the European Union rules that will require smartphones and other electronic devices to have a USB-C port by the end of 2024 at the latest, with consumer savings and less wastage in mind.
The USB-C charging port on the iPhone 15 series will enable USB 3 transfer rates of up to 10 gigabits per second.
Apple had pushed back against the rule change in the past, saying it would stifle innovation, but the new iPhone 15 series are adhering to the EU rules at present.
The Pro models are likely to be 10 per cent lighter than the predecessor because of the use of titanium.
The phone will be available in four colour options, black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
