KRITVA: the annual cultural and management fest of IMI New Delhi is all set to go beyond the moon with Sukhbir: The Prince of Bhangra, DJ Kunal and Switchers. The students are here are saving their energy for the best nights ever.

Sukhbir has ruled and owned the Punjabi music industry since 1996 when he smashed the charts with songs like New Stylee and the original Gal Ban Gayee. An enormous icon of the era, Sukhbir made a riveting comeback with his superhit song Gal Ban Gayi in 2016 where he worked with Honey Singh, Urvashi Rautela and Vidyut Jamwal. As expected, the results smashed all the charts again with the song staying on top 10 for many consecutive weeks. Since then, Sukhbir has gained tremendous fan following among the millennials. His songs are a perfect mix of nostalgia and groove coupled with locking and popping, a form which was popularised in India by his production Ishq Tera Tadpave.

IMI is all set to host Sukhbir on the 18th of February. As mentioned by one of the students – “We have grown up listening and dancing to Sukhbir’s songs. I am very excited to have him on campus and dance to his numbers”. Sukhbir and his team will be performing on IMI campus at 7.30 pm and the students are all geared up with their dancing shoes on. Organising team of KRITVA and students of IMI are expecting a huge crowd turnout from within and outside their college.

Sukhbir Singh has performed in many fests and events in colleges all across the country. He enjoys interacting with people, especially students, during his performances at such fests.

KRITVA also has a lot more in store with Switchers for their EDM night- 17th February. Switchers is a DJ DUO by Tarun Mishra and Prayas Makkar. They performed together for Grammy winning DJ/Producer “TIESTO” in Sunburn Arena Bengaluru. Switchers’ debut EP “Ancient India” was supported by top DJ’s of India. They also have performed alongside DJ/Producer “MARSHMELLO” in Sunburn Reload Delhi. Switchers came up with an ideology of making fusion of Indian instruments and electronic music. Just at the age of 20, they have made their mark and will continue to bring new and amazing fusions.

With the groove set by Switchers and the beat set by Sukhbir, KRITVA is all jammed up, presenting the best of all fests in the national capital. So if you want to dance and have a fun filled evening, 16th, 17th and18th February, IMI New Delhi, Qutub Institutional Area is your place to be. And, if you are thinking that you are not a student, don’t worry, it’s open to all. So we suggest, BE THERE.
