The news of her death was confirmed by her manager after tributes started coming in on social media.
The popular TikTok star was reportedly working on a song collaboration and was said to be in good spirits prior to the unfortunate event.
The incident has shocked her young fan base and once again brings to light mental health issues in an increasingly image-conscious online world populated by young ‘influencers,’ particularly the real-world pressures faced by artists, while maintaining a certain image online.
The reason for Kakkar’s death is still not known.
