Every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated across the world on the 8th of March. The celebration is ordinarily in the form of programs such as social gatherings, conferences, awards, exhibitions, festivals, fun-runs, corporate events, concert performances, speaking events, online digital gatherings, etc. The group of people associated with such events are usually women from large-scale corporations, charities, educational institutions, government bodies, political parties, the media and further community. The commemoration of International Women’s Day this year witnessed an amalgamation of both, the celebration of women’s position in the society and the protest insisting upon equality for women across the world.
