So while the new academic year is just kicking in, the Finance and Investment Cell St. Stephen’s College is back with it’s much awaited Mega Event which, now in its 6th Edition, promises to go a step further, giving you the rare opportunity of mixing knowledge with fun!
We bring to you: The International DreaMerger – the largest Case-Method based competition in Delhi University and the only undergraduate case study competition in India based on Mergers and Acquisitions.
Our huge success last year, which saw a participation in excess of 1500, has allowed us to reach out to an unimaginably huge audience, and we are here to bring to you yet another edition of case-study solving that will test your ability to think on your feet, apply your creativity and compete against the best in India and abroad!
Now the first thing that pops into your head would be that an event like this would require immense knowledge of the financial world, right? Not a bit!
What sets DM apart from other case-method based competitions is that you can learn while participating and don’t have to prepare before-hand. The competition requires no intricate knowledge of finance. All you need to do is unleash your infinite imagination and bring it into a practical context through logical reasoning. The event constitutes 3 rounds.
A brief outline is as follows:
1. Team composition of maximum 3 is allowed
2. Cross-college teams are allowed.
In the first two rounds the teams will be asked to tackle case studies online and the third round requires you to come up with your DREAM-MERGER.
Our past successes have attracted huge media coverage and eminent judges like Sanjeev Bikchandni, Ramni Nirula and Anil Katval.
