J&K Police, Indian Army & CRPF are currently battling against reported terrorists in the Tulran, Imamsahab area of Shopian in J&K.
Two terrorists were killed in Bandipora and Anantnag areas earlier.
Earlier in the day, in another anti-militancy operation in village close to Poonch district, a junior commissioned officer (JCO) and four soldiers were killed in action.
Videos are being curculated on sociakeddia showing security forces appealing to the trapped militants to surrender, but things are currently at an impasse.
