CBSE 10th and 12th Results to be Declared Soon

Get updates as lakhs of students wait for the CBSE Board Exam 2025 results for Class 10 and 12 on official websites.
Students and parents are requested to wait for only authentic updates and get ready for the declaration of mark sheets on cbse.gov.in.

Students Prepare for the Big Day as CBSE Approaches End of Evaluation Process

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is about to release the highly anticipated Class 10 and Class 12 results of 2025. With students numbering in the millions across India waiting for their marks, the results will become accessible on the official website cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Let’s look at all the vital details.

CBSE Result Date: When Will the Results Be Declared?

The CBSE board is likely to declare the results in the second week of May 2025, according to previous result trends. The exact date is yet to be officially announced, but the news will be released either on the release day or the night before.

The board finished the Class 10 exams on March 18 and the Class 12 exams on April 4, after a seamless schedule starting on February 15, 2025. With the evaluation process almost done, the results announcement is imminent.

CBSE Board 2025: All-Time High Turnout

There was a high turnout this year, with more than 42 lakh students appearing for the CBSE board exams:

  • Class 10 students: Around 24.12 lakh
  • Class 12 students: Around 17.88 lakh

So huge a participation reflects the importance of CBSE board exams in determining academic fates across the country. Due to the volume, CBSE has requested one and all to stay away from misinformation and rely only on official websites for updates.

How to Check CBSE 10th and 12th Results Online?

Students can follow these simple steps to check their CBSE Result 2025 once released:

  • Visit the official site: cbseresults.nic.in
  • Click on the “Results” section on the homepage
  • Choose either “CBSE Class 10 Result 2025” or “CBSE Class 12 Result 2025”
  • Enter the following credentials:
    • Roll number
    • School number
    • Admit card ID
    • Date of birth
    • Security code
  • Click “Submit”
  • Your result will be shown on the screen
  • Download and save the mark sheet for future reference

Ensure that all details provided are correct, and always cross-check the result from the official website only.

Passing Criteria and Grace Marks Policy

Students are required to secure at least 33% marks in each subject to pass CBSE board examinations. In scenarios where a student is short of marks by a narrow margin, CBSE has the authority to provide grace marks to enable him/her to pass.

This provision is made to ensure that students who have consistently worked but slightly underperformed in one or two subjects can clear their board exams without unnecessary stress.

Significant Alert from CBSE

The board has issued a strict advisory against believing or relying on any unsubstantiated information posted on social media or third-party websites. Students, parents, and schools are advised to look only for authentic sources such as cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in for updates.

Last Words

With the date of the result coming soon, everyone is looking forward to it. If you are a Class 10 student about to join senior secondary school or a Class 12 candidate awaiting college admissions, the CBSE Result 2025 marks a milestone. Remain calm, remain updated, and rely on official sources for the latest information.
