This trend was also experienced in 2023 and 2024 as:

- Class 12 attained a pass rate of 87.98%
Girls performed far better than boys, with 91.52% of the girls passing Class 12 in comparison to 85.12% of boys. Trivandrum, Vijayawada, and Chennai were the top three regions last year.
Revaluation and Compartment Exam Details
For those unhappy with their performance, CBSE will also give a revaluation opportunity. The application for revaluation is expected to open during the last week of May or first week of June, with a fee of Rs 100 to Rs 700, depending upon the facility.
Students who have failed in one or two subjects can appear for the compartment exams, which are planned to be held from July 15 to July 22. The results of these exams are likely to be declared in August 2025.
CBSE’s Policy on No Topper List or Percentage Calculation
As a measure to discourage unhealthy competitive learning, CBSE will not publish any topper list or percentage-based rankings for the students. The policy focuses on learning outcomes more than rank-based achievements.
Official Updates from CBS
CBSE has also requested students and parents not to depend on any unverified reports or social media messages for the dates of the results. Any official updates or notifications will be communicated only through the board’s authentic portals.
