The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has extended the deadline of its property tax rebate scheme officially to May 31, offering a longer chance for residents to pay their dues with financial rewards. The initiative is intended to benefit more citizens while also boosting revenue collection.
Huge Response: More Than 3.95 Lakh Taxpayers Have Already Paid
As of April 28, over 3.95 lakh property owners have taken advantage of the rebate scheme, leading to a huge collection of ₹482.90 crore in property tax. Such a high turnout is an indication of a strong civic response and how effective the rebate has been in promoting timely payments.
