Dr. Baljit Singh
I saw the movie Gadar 2 yesterday and it was fantastic from beginning to end.
In 5 minutes or so, we can see the progress of the film as the interviewer says, tell me about yourself. We can learn about the person, what he says, how he says, what he does, the person’s personality itself – intentions, his education, cultural affiliations, humiliations, defaming, divide and rule, money making intentions, etc.
Bhediya was a very good movie. In just 2 minutes, it captured the hearts of the audience. Likewise, Shamshera, Bawaal, Mili, and so on. It depends on your writing style, and it doesn’t matter if you invite a big star to make a guest appearance.
I noticed two things in the movie Gadar 2.
Every scene captures the emotions of the audience, and secondly, the writing is good because the dialogue captures the thoughts. There’s a good mix of previous Gadar film that can explain why the film progresses the way it does.
It was a new thing, that in the film Sunny Deol’s son wanted to become an actor and showed his capacities to move the film. There is nothing wrong in it if the director shows that Sunny Deol’s son can act like Rajesh Khanna and others because the objective was to show that he wants to go in the films. Nothing wrong in it. It’s a movie storyline.
Metaphors such as holding of the wheel represented Lord Krishna’s chakra (wheel) and the film also used the holy books. Likewise, when Sunny Deol holds up a hand pump or an electric pole, it’s to show that he’s a strong character also to move the film we logically use sequences. We use metaphors to imply and relate the various ways things are. Song writers and poets don’t talk about the subject (person), their message is hidden, and we need to understand through our capacities, or the teacher explains it. The movie uses metaphors to convey a message about the characters.
Sunny Deol’s screams are justifiable when fighting enemies. Like when you see a dog or a thief and your first instinct is to yell. His screaming was justified. The director Mr. Anil Sharma used the scream at the appropriate places.
Ameesha Patel Ji did a great job, as did Simrat Kaur and others. Manish Wadhwa is very good. The show goes on in everyone’s life – new doctors, new teachers, new actors, new singers and so on. The policeman said to the male singer, ‘I’m just your fan, none others.’
After sometime, the policeman’s daughter began to sing, he realised the mistake of saying that.
Songs were beautiful.
The movie was a success at the box office, and the movie itself was beautiful.
4/5.
